thanks to all who commented on my 2 entries. i very rarely, if ever, post to my lj so it was nice. i only posted since someone on my flist was going to drop people who have not posted to their journal in at least a year. and i didn't want to be dropped.

| next to normal on broadway |

tonight i went to see next to normal for the 8th time as it was aaron tveits last show. he is wonderful and will be sorely missed but for anyone on my flist who hasn't seen it , if you are going to be in nyc, you should try to see it if you can. his replacement, kyle massey, is wonderful also. he replaced aaron last summer when aaron left to do catch me if you can in seattle for 3 months. catch me will be coming to broadway in the fall after a run in toronto so there will be another chance to see aaron..
i am of course prejudiced as far as aaron is concerned but you will not be disappointed in kyle. the rest of the cast is wonderful also, including alice ripley, who won the tony this year for best actress in a musical, robert spencer, who was an original cast member of jersey boys, jennifer damiano, who was an original cast member of spring awakening and adam berat and louis hobson round out the cast.
i hope if any of you are in nyc you consider seeing it.
